Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Today we will allow you to gain a little insight into the life and thoughts of an extraordinary individual, known as Brother Etluzini.
Dumu Abzu-a: Greetings Brother! To the members of the inner circle of the Asharu Tradition you are already well known, but it would be nice for our regular readers if you could tell a little bit about yourself.
Etluzini: Greetings Brother! Well, I was born under the number 777 as a great great grandson of the famous Sitting Bull, who was a Hunkpapa Lakota Sioux holy man, and a great tribal chief. I am a born and raised shaman, a healer and herbalist, a master of the Qabalah, a well known exorcist, and a high priest of the covenant of Babylon which was founded in 1992 and which currently has three temples, in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Knox. I am also well versed in the use of various languages and the translation of cuneiform script.
Dumu Abzu-a: Very impressive Brother!
Etluzini: Thank you!
Dumu Abzu-a: The paranoia that took hold of people concerning the Mayan prediction that the world would end on december 21th 2012 was not completely unfounded, as we have obviously entered a new and magickal era. What is your view on this?
Etluzini: Surely there have always been doomsday predictions through the millenia but when looking at the Maya one needs to think about their culture. For one, the calendar ending never meant doomsday. It was just the end of the age of Pisces. And two, the Maya were a very spiritual people. They were well aware of the new awakening humanity was to embark on. The Maya also said that this age was when the gods returned to man. This being said, many are already finding these events coming full swing. The gods have been actively reaching out to us and we are accepting them once again. Our eyes are open and we fill our hearts with their spirit.
Dumu Abzu-a: Well spoken, like one whose eyes ARE open, and have been for quite some time!
Etluzini: Yeah, I’ve been around for quite some time.
Dumu Abzu-a: Can you tell us some more about the Covenant of Babylon, and how this fits within the Asharuic paradigm?
Etluzini: The Covenant of Babylon is a Sumerian/Babylonian temple founded in 1992 with 3 temples in Pennsylvania – Pittsburgh, Knox, and Oil City. It is a non-profit organization which holds regular meetings and embarks on group recreational trips. This temple was created to promote the religion of ancient Mesopotamia and to teach its members the culture, language, and magic of its people. Though our practices are based mainly on the Sumerian Tree of Life, the Gate-Walking process of the Asharuic paradigm is a big part of the teachings and initiation. Truely both systems are Yin and Yang when placed side by side. The DinGir are truely amongst all.
Dumu Abzu-a: Amazing! It is a great thing to see two such organizations join hand in hand to promote and advocate the teachings of ancient Mesopotamia. The DinGir are amongst us indeed!
Etluzini: Aye, it is a great thing indeed!
Dumu Abzu-a: In my experience not all people are too fond of the Asharuic culture, trying to discredit our initiatory tome, attacking our ways, and seeking our downfall. How do you view such individuals and, in your opinion, where do such individuals fit in the grand scheme of things?
Etluzini: I find people too wrapped up in biblical dogma. Our rites go back to the Babylonians and even before them. Babylon is given a bad name in the Christian’s bible and is a stereotype passed on through the ages to cover up the divine knowledge of the gods. No matter what we do there will always be those who want to seek our downfall. They accept their life living under the control of society and have no desire to control their own lives. They are slaves. Personally I feel that the Asharuic culture will continue growing as more people are finally becoming awake and are seeing with true eyes for the first time. Those that don’t have free will and have no desire to truely ascend….they will be swept under the carpet. We are at one with everything around us and the rules of society are beneath our feet. We will be the beacons of light in this world that they all turn to when all they believe in fails them.
Dumu Abzu-a: Amen to that Brother! It is a true blessing and honor to be part of this all.
Etluzini: I agree Brother.
Dumu Abzu-a: How do you perceive the direction that the Tradition takes?
Etluzini: The Tradition’s direction is very strong in my opinion. If starting with the Necronomicon as most have, its a very straight forward system. When one looks at the actual clay tablets and the translations that are becoming plentiful we can see even clearer as how all religions of world have come to take this sacred doctrine into their tradition. The Age of Aquarius is now here – the gods beckon across the veils – and many are waking up and hearing their call. Though the information is scattered about and still much locked away in museum basements, we of the Asharuic culture have taken it upon ourselves to gather these works together and to once again bring to light the teachings and the guidance the Great DinGirs offer. We have put order into chaos.
Dumu Abzu-a: Do you have any advice for those who seek to pursue this path?
Etluzini: To those who pursue this path, be true to yourself. Research and study is key in this endeavor. Above all else cleanse and keep the body purified. You will want to make this part of your daily routine. I pray and honor the gods every chance I get and call out to them in every empty moment. This is a way of life and a serious path of dedication. I believe those who embark on this path will fall in love with it as I have.
Dumu Abzu-a: Haha!! I know I have! It is an amazing path to walk!
Etluzini: Yes it is.
Dumu Abzu-a: Got any last words for the readers?
Etluzini: When one enters the path and embraces it, they will feel many changes within themselves. Do not be afraid but face what you feel. Your mind will come to experience true strength (wisdom) and you will come to develop power of the self as I have. You will have visions and hear voices. And spirits will visit you for the light of your spirit will shine bright. It may be startling at first but learn from these things that which is beneficial. Know that the terms right hand and left hand path are just two sides of a coin but they are but a single coin. Embrace both.
Dumu Abzu-a: Wise words Brother! The reader would do wise to keep them in mind. I thank you for your time and appreciate that you gave our readers the chance to get to know you better. May the Dead rise and smell the Incense!
Etluzini: No problem Brother! May the Dead rise and smell the Incense!
