THE SIMON NECRONOMICON PANTHEON PART 3: THE RACE OF ENKI

THE RACE OF ENKI

We were able to discover in the first part of our conversation, entitled Worshippers of the Ancient Ones, that the Elder gods were actually the Ancient Ones. We were also able to see how some of the messages in the ancient myths have been misinterpreted by the uninitiated due to their religious programming and a false sense of self. The Second Testimony of the Mad Arab is the greatest key in understanding that the powers behind the Simon Necronomicon are indeed the powers of the Ancient Ones. So let us look a little further into the Mad Arab’s Testimony. Notice what is mentioned in the Simon Necronomicon on page 210:

“And who is their Master? Of this I do not know, but I have heard them calling ENKI which is surely a blasphemy, for ENKI is of our Race as it is writ in the Text of MAGAN. But, perhaps, they called Another, whose Name I do not know. But surely it was not ENKI”

This is a very interesting passage. It mentions that ‘ENKI is of our Race.’  For us to get a clear understanding of this passage, we need to find out what the Race of Enki actually means. In one of our previous discussions, entitled THE ANCIENT ART OF GATEWALKING PART 5: THE KEYS OF IMMORTALITY, we were able to find out some interesting perspectives about the Simon Necronomicon’s version of the Enuma Elish, we were able to make the following observation:

We do know that the Simon Necronomicon throughout many of its passages speaks of the Ancient Ones. And on page 208, as quoted above the Race of Draconis, is also a sector of the Ancient Ones. It is interesting to note the words of Richard Laurence found in the Apocrypha of the Book of Enoch, which was translated by him in 1821:

“Yet Josephus, notwithstanding his constant efforts to give Israel unmerited glorification, by attributing the science (Wisdom) to the Jewish “Enoch”, shows the pillars as still existing during his time. He tells us that they were built by Seth; and so they may have been, only neither by the Patriarch of that name, the fabled son of Adam, nor by the Egyptian god of
Wisdom – Teth, Set, Thoth, Tat, Sat (the later Sat-an), or Hermes, who are ALL ONE, – but by the “sons of the Serpent-god”, or “Sons of the Dragon”, the name under which the Hierophants of Egypt and Babylon were known BEFORE THE DELUGE, as were their forefathers, the Atlanteans….,The gods that are listed in the belly of TIAMAT are indeed the races of man.

LLMU and LLAAMU would apply to the first ‘root race. They are known in ancient history as Lahmu and Lahamu. They have sometimes been defined as serpent, muddy, or hairy one.

ANSHAR and KISHAR would then be the second ‘root race.’

ANU the heavenly one would be the third ‘root race’ coming out of  Lemuria.

ENKI would represent the fourth race or the Atlantean race. It is interesting to not that the God THOTH, also finds his correspondence to mercury. In Ancient Sumerian ENKI was also given the same correspondence”

The quote above is a useful component in illustrating that ENKI represents the Race of Watchers. This is mentioned in the Simon Necronomicon: on page 70:

And sometimes the Watcher appears as a Man in A long Robe, shaven, with eyes that never lose their stare. And the Lord of the Watchers dwells, it is said, among the Wastes of the IGIGI,”

The above passage mentions that the “Lord of the Watchers dwells…among the Wastes of the IGIGI.” The Lord of the Watchers is ENKI. Notice the correspondence given to ENKI in the SUPPLEMENTARY  MATERIAL TO 777 found in the Introduction of the Simon Necronomicon:

. . .

ANU (TIAMAT)

1.

Sphere of the Primum Mobile

ENLIL (ABSU)

2.

Sphere of the Zodiac or Fixed Stars

ENKI; LUMASHI (IGIGI)

ENKI corresponds to the IGIGI, or Sphere of the Zodiac. We discussed this same correspondence in a previous article entitled, THE SIMON NECRONOMICON’S VERSION OF THE ENUMA ELISH, that a Gate is a constellation of the Zodiac. In the Greater Mysteries the Zodiac has a direct influence on the events that happen on Earth. Interestingly, the name ENKI is often defined as ‘Lord of Ki.’ I must also state that the name of ENKI has been a subject of much debate. The Simon Necronomicon provides insight into this matter that has escaped the notice of present-day scholars. However, before we venture into a discussion about the meaning of ENKI’s name, it is interesting to note the words of Richard Laurence found in the Apocrypha of the Book of Enoch, which was translated by him in 1821:

“Yet Josephus, notwithstanding his constant efforts to give Israel unmerited glorification, by attributing the science (Wisdom) to the Jewish “Enoch”, shows the pillars as still existing during his time. He tells us that they were built by Seth; and so they may have been, only neither by the Patriarch of that name, the fabled son of Adam, nor by the Egyptian god of
Wisdom – Teth, Set, Thoth, Tat, Sat (the later Sat-an), or Hermes, who are ALL ONE, – but by the “sons of the Serpent-god”, or “Sons of the Dragon”, the name under which the Hierophants of Egypt and Babylon were known BEFORE THE DELUGE, as were their forefathers, the Atlanteans.”

The above quote indicates that references to Enoch, Thoth, and etc, are referring to a class of priests who were responsible for maintaining the purity of the Greater Mysteries, or as Laurence stated above, ‘who are ALL ONE.’  Therefore, Enoch, Thoth, and ENKI, would all represent a class of Initiates or Initiators. (We discussed in KEYS OF IMMORTALITY post that ENKI corresponded to THOTH) The term Enoch has been defined by some as initiate, or initiator, also Seer. This definition gives us some clarification about certain passages in the Simon Necronomicon. On page 70 it states:

The Watcher comes from a Race different from that of Men and yet different from that of the Gods, and it is said that he was with KINGU and his hordes at the time of the War between the Worlds, but was dissatisfied and did cleave unto the Armies of Lord MARDUK.

Wherefore it is wise to conjure It in the Names of the Three Great Watchers Who existed before the Confrontation from whose borne the Watcher and His Race ultimately derive and those Three are ANU, ENLIL, and Master ENKI of the Magick Waters”

This is an interesting passage, for it tells us that the Watcher comes from a race that is different from Men and the Gods. It also states that the Watcher ultimately derives from the Three Great Watchers ANU, ENLIL, and ENKI. This also means that ANU, ENLIL, and ENKI are not listed as the same sort of Gods as those of the Initiatory Gates. Since we have determined that a Gate is a constellation of the Zodiac, this would then mean that the Three Great Watchers are also from BEYOND THE STARS. This is why I often disagree with those who try to make a correspondence between ANU, ENLIL, and ENKI with planets not mentioned in the Simon Necronomicon. These three higher energies are not planetary, and while it may seem like a logical correspondence to the uninitiated, it is definitely a display of foolish work.

In our Mountain of MASSHU series we discussed the Watcher’s identity in great detail, and the information that we are now considering is also in agreement with that, as we mentioned before ENOCH could mean the Initiate or the Initiator. This would mean then that the Watcher is the Initiate and on an advanced level the Initiator. The Initiate, can best described as MARDUK or those from the Race of MARDUK, or even the Sons of MARDUK. The Initiator is one who is chosen from among the sons of MARDUK and is spiritually adopted into the divine family as a Scribe of ENKI, to oversee the work amongst the Sons of MARDUK, and also works as an Initiator among the Initiates. This work of an Initiator often presents conflict in the Initiate’s life. The Initiate is faced with ordeals that work as “shocks” to his/her psyche. This form of initiation is often imitated by modern-day fraternities as they place difficult obstacles upon the initiate to test his/her loyalty to the fraternity. The initiation into the Greater Mysteries works in the same manner, but the ordeals that the Initiate encounters is placed upon /him/her to aid the candidate to grow spiritually and to adjust their way of thinking so that it is in Union with the Three Great Watchers. Once the Initiate has transformed them self by overcoming the ordeals presented to him/her, The Three Great Watchers will appear before the Initiate in some supernatural way as validation that he/she has been adopted into their spiritual family. Until that time the Initiate still learns a great deal of wisdom in serving these powers as Priest or Priestess. The Initiate that has become an Initiator now works as an agent for the Ancient Ones in order to test the loyalty of the Priesthood during their time spent within the Seven Initiatory Gates. This is what is meant by the following passage in the Simon Necronomicon as found on page 166:

“For what is new
Came from that which is old
And what is old
Shall replace that which is new
And once again the Ancient Ones
Shall rule upon the face of the Earth!
And this is too the Covenant”

There are numerous passages in the Simon Necronomicon that distinguishes the Initiate from the class of Initiators, also known as the Ancient Ones, and the Race of ENKI. Here are a few listed below:

“It is not I , but ENKI, Master of the Magicians, who summons Thee!
It is not I, but MARDUK, Slayer of the Serpent, who calls Thee here now!” (excerpt from the CONJURATION OF THE FIRE GOD)

THIS is the Book of the Conjuration of the Watcher, for formulae as I received them from the Scribe of ENKI, Our Master and Lord of All Magick. Great care must be taken that this untamed Spirit does not rise up against the Priest,” (excerpt from THE CONJURATION OF THE WATCHER)

In the above passage you can also see that there is a vast difference between the Scribe of ENKI and the Priest, as the Priest’s Inner Spirit is described as untamed. The Testimony of the Mad Arab informs us of his two initiations. He first describes all that he has learned during his life as an Initiate. Secondly, a deeper understanding is given to him by a Scribe of the Elder Gods. This shows us that there are two distinct classes, The Priest/Priestesses, and the Scribes of ENKI. Taking into account what we have previously stated, notice how these two passages from the Simon Necronomicon flow together very well.

“Of the three carved symbols, the first is the sign of our Race from beyond the Stars, and is called ARRA in the tongue of the Scribe who taught it to me, an emissary of the Elder Ones

“The Watcher is a Race sent by the Elder Ones”

The Race of ENKI consists of those who are spiritually adopted into the divine family from amongst the Priest/Priestesses WORKING WITH THE GATES. The length of time that the Initiate walks the Gates does not determine their second initiation into the Race of ENKI. That is the choice of the Three Great Watchers. Interestingly, while surfing the web, I cam across this link

Notice what it say concerning GateWalking:

Distinct practices in the Necronomicon

Walking the Gates

The Necronomicon includes a number of astral gates which can be “walked” and explored whereby the practitioner gains tremendous amounts of experience and knowledge, directly from the Gods.

Priesthood

After a time practicing with the Necronomicon, some are called to become priests/esses of the Elder Gods or one of gods after experiencing a powerful vision. At times, beings appear almost physically.

Primordial human emotion

Some attribute the power of the Necronomicon to it’s use of one of the strongest human emotions – fear. It is also one of the easiest, if not the easiest, to conjure up.

So while one may achieve initiation by Walking the Gates and serve as Priest/Priestesses, there are even greater experiences that one can enjoy from the Greater Mysteries contained within the Simon Necronomicon. Usually those who are adopted are actually progeny of the Gods. This is what the Mad Arab meant we he wrote that you are from a Race beyond the Stars. We are the Watchers. Some of us will remain as Priest/Priestesses. It is with this understanding that we can define ENKI as en meaning priest, and KI meaning Earth. This means that ENKI represents the collective priests that rule the Earth.

We can also state that there is a big difference in understanding between the Priest/Priestess and those who been Initiated into the divine family. If we look at the example of the Mad Arab, he had some understanding of how to perform the Rites, but not the same understanding of those who were part of the spiritual family. The MAGAN Text is a journal of our heritage and a letter to ourselves. Our understanding of it is based on our personal experience and our Nephilimic Heritage. It is a source of inspiration.

This explains the Mad Arab’s destiny and why he could not finish the book as he was to join the RACE OF ENKI, and ruling as an Ancient One.

WE ARE THE LOST ONES
From a Time before Time
From a Land beyond the Stars
From the Age when ANU walked the earth
In company of Bright Angels.
We have survived the first War
Between the Powers of the Gods
And have seen the wrath of the Ancient Ones
Dark Angels
Vent upon the Earth
WE ARE FROM A RACE BEYOND THE WANDERERS OF NIGHT.
We have survived the Age when ABSU ruled the Earth
And the Power destroyed out generations.
We have survived on tops of mountains
And beneath the feet of mountains

And have spoken with the Scorpions
In allegiance and were betrayed.
And TIAMAT has promised us nevermore to attack
With water and with wind.
But the Gods are forgetful.
Beneath the Seas of NAR MATTARU
Beneath the Seas of the Earth, NAR MATTARU

Beneath the World lays sleeping
The God of Anger, Dead but Dreaming
The God of CUTHALU, Dead but Dreaming!
The Lord of KUR, calm but thunderous!
The One-Eyes Sword, cold but burning!

He who awakens Him calls the ancient
Vengeance of the Elder Ones
The Seven Glorious Gods
of the Seven Glorious Cities
Upon himself and upon the World
And old vengeance . . .

Know that our years are the years of War
And our days are measured as battles
And every hour is a Life
Lost to the Outside
Those from Without
Have builded up charnel houses
To nourish the fiends of TIAMAT

And the Blood of the weakest here
Is libation unto TIAMAT
Queen of the Ghouls
Wreaker of Pain
And to invoke her
The Red Water of Life
Need be split on a stone
The stone struck with a sword
That hath slain eleven men
Sacrifices to HUBUR
So that the Strike ringeth out
And call TIAMAT from Her slumber
From her sleep in the Caverns
Of the Earth.

And none may dare entreat further
For to invoke Death is to utter
The final prayer.”
