Warlock Asylum’s Interview With Dan Harms!

Devil & Jesus

Warlock Asylum & Dan Harms Meet Eye To Eye (Art by Ong Chew Peng)

Greetings!

I would like to welcome everyone to the GateWalker’s Page. If this is your first time here, please review some of our previous articles first.

Well, this is certainly a new chapter in the Necronomicon Tradition. I am sure that many of our regular readers are more than familiar with the debates that have occurred between Dan Harms and myself. It has certainly been a pleasure to get to know Dan, not only as an opponent, but as a a comrade in some respects. I must say that although Dan and I have a “weird” friendship, I do respect his work in the Occult Community. We may differ on many aspects of the Necronomicon Tradition, but it is in hopes that something can be gained from our debates.

I must say that I have learned more from our debates than real conversation with other GateWalkers. It has allowed me to really dig through the canals of Ancient Mesopotamian history and really consider the origin of the layered material appearing in the Simon Necronomicon. It has also encouraged me to look more into the Lovecraft Mythos. This is something that every GateWalker should take the time to do.

There is something that is very intriguing about the The Dan Harms Machine but it is something that cannot be calculated. Dan is sincere in his work and is cautious enough to ward off any predator who seeks to betray a certain honesty when it comes to presenting the Greater Mysteries. Of course I must say that we still differ in our opinion of the Simon Necronomicon, but that is no mystery at this point! :) Well I had a chance to talk with Dan the other day via email. We have been corresponding and checking out what we have read while making some suggestions to each other.  I decided to Interview Dan after Venus Satanas made a comment that kind of ended a debate between Harms and myself. I will post Miss Satanas’ comment after this interview, but for now let us zoom in on this conversation between Dan and I:

 1)      Warlock Asylum: I am sure that our regular readers are more than familiar with the name Dan Harms, as well as, many people in the Occult Community, but in your own words Dan, Can you tell us something about yourself and maybe fill us in on some of your accomplishments?

Dan Harms:  I typically keep these short, so I’ll just say I’m the author of The Cthulhu Mythos Encyclopedia and The Necronomicon Files.  I also write at the blog Papers Falling from an Attic Window on grimoires, the occult, role-playing, Lovecraft, and whatever else I’m in the mood to discuss.  I’m a college librarian in my “other” life.

2) Warlock Asylum: What inspired you to become a writer? What sparked your interest in H. P. Lovecraft?

Dan Harms:  They actually happened in reverse order.  I came across Lovecraft via the Call of Cthulhu role-playing game in middle school, and I was struck by the man’s vision and the pantheon he created, or was attributed to him.  I started to read other Mythos authors, and then I created a file on an old word processing program on the various monsters and books I was encountering.  My intent was never to be a writer; I just wrote, and wrote, and had people encourage me to write, and I ended up with a book.

3)   Warlock Asylum: Many people associate the name “Dan Harms” with the Necronomicon Files, as it is seen all across the internet, what was your intent and approach in writing the book?

Dam Harms:  At the time John and I wrote the book, there wasn’t any single good reference work on the topic of the various Necronomicon hoaxes that were appearing.  Plus, the increased use of the Internet meant that more misinformation about the book was circulating than ever before.  So we set out to document what was out there, being as thorough as possible in terms of covering texts and different perspectives.  We also wanted to be entertaining, so there’s some humor in there.  Some people were offended by that, but it was there for a reason.  There was also not much of a GateWalking community at the time, though we did review a few books supposed to work with the Necronomicon therein.

4)  Warlock Asylum:  Your essays on Lovecraft, the occult, and various other writings have sparked some controversy as to your spiritual path. Some have even accused you of being a member of the O.T.O, How do you normally go about describing your “spiritual path?”

Dan Harms:  First, the “some” who’ve accused me of OTO membership is actually just you.  If there’s someone else, please let me know. I normally don’t describe my spiritual path, for a few different reasons.  One major one is that I’ve seen just how blinkered people can be when it comes to arguments they don’t agree with.  I could be anything from an atheist to a Rastafarian to – gasp! – a Gatewalker, and people would see it as an excuse to disregard what I say.  If I don’t tell them what I believe, they don’t have that excuse, or they have to invent some spirituality with which to attack me, which is often quite amusing and ends up making them look bad.

5)  Warlock Asylum: It seems that a few practitioners of the Simon Necronomicon have become more vocal over the past couple of years; Does this spark some concern on your end?

Dan Harms:  I have actually encouraged Gatewalkers to make their faith more public from time to time, so it’d be odd for me to be concerned about it. If people have something valid to say about their spirituality, then they can say it so the world can hear.  If they have nothing valid to say, they’ll reveal that.  The great benefit of the Internet is that it makes it much easier to find the stupid people.  So, no matter who speaks and their level of commitment, we all benefit.

6)  Warlock Asylum: Over the past couple of years, Dan and I, have had quite a few debates. In your own words Dan; what insights have you gained from these debates if any?

Dan Harms:  Overall, they have been useful, as they’ve meant that, from time to time, I have to re-engage with the source material on Mesopotamian religion, Lovecraft, or other topics.  I do wish that you’d attempt to engage with it in a similar manner, and that is a disappointment.

7)   Warlock Asylum: What advice would you give Warlock Asylum, or any other practitioner of the Simon Necronomicon who chooses this tome as a spiritual path?

Dan Harms:   Well, you asked. First, understand that what you’re practicing is an amalgam of ceremonial magic, Sumerian ritual, pagan sensibilities, and pulp fiction assembled in the mid-Seventies, likely with a profit motive on the part of one or more of the main participants, and with an origin story that’s changed over time.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with practicing such a spiritual path and finding personal satisfaction or growth through it.

Where GateWalkers get into trouble is when they assume that, because the book is impressive or they’re getting results, they can use the book as a source on Mesopotamian religion or Lovecraft, or decide that Simon is a holy prophet, or declare that I must be the devil, or proclaim themselves to be religiously persecuted because someone disagrees with them on the Internet.  Some people will never respect GateWalkers because of their system, but I think they lose much of their support through trying to expound on areas where they don’t have expertise or trying to blow disagreements into tales of deep personal agony.  Of course, developing expertise in those areas and then talking about them deserves respect, and anyone who’s lost family/friends/a home/a job because of their faith deserves sympathy.

Don’t be lazy.  There have been a number of times that I’ve asked various GateWalkers to read a book, or write an essay, or walk to their local library.  It’s amazing how these mighty wizards who can stare the Ancient Ones in the faces and undergo the most arduous initiation processes suddenly find something better to do when someone makes a suggestion that might give them greater understanding or allow them to reach more people.  I don’t expect them to do something just because I suggest it, but when it gets to the point where I feel I have to edit Wikipedia to reflect the practitioner’s perspective, I start to wonder where these GateWalkers are.

Now, if those individuals are so devoted to spirituality that they don’t want to engage with the outside world, that’s fine.  Nonetheless, that’s not the case for most GateWalkers I’ve met.  They claim that they’re horribly misunderstood and looked down upon, and yet they never do anything to challenge those impressions.  Either ignore your critics or engage with them by creating something of worth and value.  Caring about what they say and not doing anything about it is either passive aggressive or an attempt to play the victim.

That’s not to say that there isn’t great potential out there – I’d cite Warlock Asylum and Ashnook as intelligent individuals who could probably turn out some impressive work that would give GateWalking more respectability, if they turned up matters a notch and didn’t get distracted by some of the concerns I’ve raised above.

Warlock Asylum:  I would like to sincerely thank Dan Harms and The Dan Harms Machine for taking the time and agreeing on this Interview. One thing that you can say about Dan, whether you like him or hate him, is that he is a living legend, and his work as a writer has been priceless to the Occult Community, even in spite of the debatablilty of his observations. I think this is a very important chapter in the Necronomicon Tradition that cannot be overlooked even by those who are not involved. I would like to close this Chapter of Necronomicon History with a comment that Venus Satanas made during a debate between Dan Harms and Warlock Asylum. The comment appears  under the article The Simon Necronomicon: A Spiritual Martial Art and can be read in its entirety by clicking on the said link:

“In posting on both of your blogs and reading them for quite some time, I have seen that you are not arguing simply for argument’s sake. that
many things between you have been revealed and understood between you both. I did not mean to cause trouble, nor are your discussions with Dan any of my business, nor is it my place to judge either of you for your beliefs. Regardless, as an observer these things fascinate me and I am always interested in learning about new and unusual methods of magic that aren’t readily
accepted in mainstream occult.”

Warlock Asylum’s Interview With Venus Satanas

Greetings!

I would like to welcome everyone here to the GateWalker’s Info Page. Today, we have a special fuest-Venus Satanist. She is the auther of http://www.spiritualsatanist.com/ I was very happy that she agreed to do an interview, as I thought that it may help our readers learn a new perspective.

Warlock Asylum:  For our readers here on the GateWalker’s Info Page, Who is Venus Satanas? What is your spiritual path? And what links or media have you organized to reach people?

Venus Satanas: See, I found Satanism accidentally when I was browsing the bookshelf in the public library. It was a hardcover edition of the Church of Satan by Blanche Barton that introduced me to some of the LaVeyan perspectives in Satanism. This was in 1992. I created a pact with Satan that same year.

I dedicated myself to Satanism once again, years later after leaving the path
for seven years to work on a failing relationship. In this relationship I had to
give up my practices of Satanism. After seven years I knew that things weren’t
going to work out and it wasn’t the life that I wanted to live anymore.

After I left that relationship, I worked and saved to get my own place. I was
alone and living in a new apartment. To me it was a second chance, my
opportunity to return to Satanism and magic, to finish what I started years ago.
I created a new altar and dedicated my time to studying magic. I saved a black
cat from the shelter (Shadow) to be my familiar.

At my apartment doorstep was a pink rose that took a long time to grow. To me
that rose was a symbol of my new life. It was a symbol of the goddess Venus. At
my own ritual of Magical Naming, I used that rose as an offering to the goddess
Venus. After this, the name ‘Venus Satanas’ became my magical name. I also
rededicated to the path of Satanism, offering my service to Satan once again.

Through this I created my website, spiritualsatanist.com to share my ideas and
experiences with others. It started out as a small collection of articles that
grew over the years into what it is today.

And, in 2007 I created my you tube channel so that I could make educational
videos on Satanism. I also researched the al-jilwah in 2008, and wrote a book in
‘09 called ‘The Al-Jilwah for Satanists’, to expose the origins of this
(supposedly) Satanic document. It is my interest to inform people about my ideas
in Satanism and to debunk the myths that some believe, through education and
resources.

I was also invited to write for the upcoming anthology book, ‘Woman’s Voices in
Magic’, where I described my experience of being a woman on the path of
Satanism. It seems that the majority of Satanists are not women, but I think
this is changing though as more people learn about Satanism.

Warlock Asylum:  How did you discover “spiritual Satanism?” And why Satanism?

Venus Satanas: It was through my experiments in magic and Satanism that I discovered that there really weren’t many good sources for Satanism available. One source did inspire me though and that was Diane Vera’s Theistic Satanism site.

I loved the style of her writings. Her website was easy to understand and full
of common sense advice and excellent research. From reading her writings I began
to understand that there were essentially two types of Satanists out there – the
atheists or symbolic Satanists, and the theists or spiritual Satanists. My
experiences with Satan as a god allowed me to see what I really identified with,
that being a spiritual belief in Satan. So, it was easy to identify with
Theistic Satanism because of my spiritual experiences.

When you ask, ‘Why Satanism?’ – I think that answer would be different for
every Satanist that you ask. Satan represents many things to me, and it is from
these understandings that I have come to have a relationship with Satan as a
god.

My reasons for being a Satanist have changed over the years, but the focus has
always been identification with the qualities of Satan. I suppose that
Satanism allows me to be what I like to identify with, but that would be a
really simple answer to a very complex question.

It is through the experiences that I have had with Satanism that I have seen
Satan as a force that has moved through my life and shaped it in many different
ways. This force has allowed me to achieve what I want in life, mostly through
thoughts, actions, desires, and situations that manifest. I am a very artistic
person and Satanism is a system of spirituality that allows me to be individual,
unique and expressive. Satanism is a benefit to me and my spiritual relationship
with Satan is beneficial as well.

Warlock Asylum: How has this Path helped you?

Venus Satanas: The Path of Satanism has helped me in many ways. In my youth Satanism allowed me to break free from all of the things about life that I believed to be true. It allowed me to stand on my own and to have the courage to be myself. Later on in life, Satanism helped me to help others to find what Satanism is and what it is not.

What really helped me in Satanism was my meeting with nocTifer (nagasiva) in
‘07 in a chat channel. We had so many good discussions on the history of
Satanism. nocTifer is very educated in occultism and his website,
satanservice.org is a huge archive of Satanism that he has collected for many
years.

Through our many discussions he has definitely helped me to shatter some of my
own beliefs that were not necessary, and I am a better person because of this.
My perspectives changed for some very good reasons. It is also because of this
that I have come to know Satan as God of this World, and a god of wild nature!

In Oct. 2008, We created The Horde of Independent Satanists (HISS) to help
independent Satanists with resources and writings on Satanism. Where most
Satanists are generally distrustful of others and battle with each other, I
believe that nocTifer and I are able to work together to manifest something
great for other Satanists.

Warlock Asylum:  What are some things that you feel you still need to explore?

Venus Satanas: Learning never ends, it is an ongoing process. The more that I learn in Satanism and occultism the more I realize that I actually know very little. I suppose that is the idea of spirituality, it is a never-ending mystery. Achieving the
answers isn’t as important to me as discovering the questions.

While standing in line at the store the other day I saw a man with a t-shirt
that said in bold letters ‘The journey is the destination’. I said to myself,
‘yes that’s it! Now that’s the truth.’ Satanism is like that, it’s not a goal to
be achieved it is something that is built along the way through years of study
and understanding and practice.

Warlock Asylum:  What advice would you give to the GateWalking Community and Keepers of the Simon Necronomicon Tradition?

Venus Satanas: I think in my first intro post on the Papers in the Attic blog, I discussed my own experiences and perspectives on the Necronomicon tradition. I will explain here briefly. I do not accept that the Necronomicon or its sources are ancient. However, I do accept that there is some kind of practical use for it as a modern grimoire for modern magic.

From my understanding of the GateWalking method, the closest that I could
compare it to as a magic system is the Chaos magic movement. I think it takes
years of work to make a tradition take hold. If there is something good and
useful that can be gained from it, then that’s great. That’s what makes it work.

But, my advice is this. I know what it is like to be a minority in the occult.
Satanism is in many ways still an underground movement; you have to search into it to find resources and knowledge. The answers aren’t always apparent.

I also know what it is like not to get respect from other occult communities.
Sometimes I wonder why people, who claim to have an open mind, can be so upset
when they are in the presence of a Satanist. I see the anti-satanic propaganda
put forth by Wiccans and pagans. I have seen personally how some in ceremonial
magic have laughed at the ideas of Satanism as if it were a joke. They have many
misconceptions and assumptions. Satanism is very real, and while it is not the
path for everyone, it is something that will appeal to a certain few who
identify with its concepts.

I have also seen another side to my experience in the occult community. It is
through social networking sites and YouTube that I’ve had the opportunity to
reach out to many different kinds of people. I have had people from all paths
write to me and tell me that although they aren’t Satanists they appreciate my
writings and perspectives. This tells me that there is hope, that Satanism can
coexist alongside other kinds of spiritual and occult paths.

So my advice to others who are on a unique and not well known path is this: do
what you love to do because you love to do it, and that’s it.

Jesus Christ is Lucifer Part 2: The GateWalking Avatar

Greetings!

Welcome to the GateWalker’s Info Page. If this is your first time here please review some of our previous articles first, so that you can understand the depths of our present discussion. Readers of this article concerning Jesus Christ, are first advised to read our previous discussion concerning the Christ found under the topic Jesus is Lucifer.

It is evident with one quick google search that many critics of the Simon Necronomicon will accuse Simon of inventing the GateWalking Process of Initiation and further assert that it is not a part of the Ancient Mysteries. However, through a close examination of the gospel account we san come to the realization that jesus was a GateWalker and took the form of his initiation just as it is described in the Simon Necronomicon.

The Simon Necronomicon states that \”INANNA TAKES HER OWN FOR HER OWN.\” This is probably one of the most misunderstood passage in the Necronomicon. What is meant by Inanna taking her own for her own, has a lot to do with initiation. We have discussed this many times on previous pages. The link shown prior, INANNA TAKES HER OWN FOR HER , gives a full meaning as to what this passage remains and how it relates to the starseeds.

Let us now make a comparative study of the gospel accounts and the Simon Necronomicon to show that Jesus also went through the process of GateWalking.

The NANNA Gate = Immacualte Conception.

Luke Chapter 1: 34-38 describes Mary as being a Virgin. This compares greatly with Ishtar (Inanna) who was also described as the Virgin Mother of Tammuz. It is also interesting to note that it is Gabriel who was used to impregnate the Virgin Mary. Gabriel in Judaic Kabbalistic Tradition is considered to be the Angel of Yesod, or what some may call the Sphere of the Moon. In the Qliphotic Tradition, corresponds to Gamaliel, which is ruled by Lilith.

I find that it is no coincidence that the Angel Gabriel is associated with the same Sphere whose Qliphotic correspondence is Lilith, Queen of the Sucubus and Incubus. It is evident that the Angel Gabriel acted in the same manner as an Incubus, but without the ‘dark asthetics.’

The Simon Necronomicon the following about the Nanna Gate:

“The God of the Moon is the God NANNA. He is the Father of the Zonei…and possesses the secret of the tides of blood.”

The Babylonian Tammuz was known to Sumerians as Dumuzi “the only-begotten Son” or “Son of the Blood.”

NEBO Gate = jesus visits temple at 12 years of age

Luke Chapter 2 describes Jesus visit to the temple at the age of 12. Jesus was said to have been in the temple asking the “doctors” questions and listening to them. It is interesting to note that a “doctor” is a mercurial aspect. Enki, in the Sumerian Tradition was associated with Mercury, and is also relative to the medical field. Later, this association was designated to Nebo by the Babylonians. When mary and Joseph finally found Jesus in the temple, he is noted to have said:

was ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?”

Here we can also see another correspondence to the Necronomicon Tradition. Jesus was 12 years old at the time he first conducted his Father’s business.’ The Simon Necronomicon mentions the following:

“The number of NEBO is twelve..”

In the INVOCATION OF THE NEBO GATE, Nebo is described as the Master of Chemical Science. This would correspond to what we call a “doctor” today. Also the Mad Arab states in the Book of Entrance that ‘Enki is our Father.

Gates of Ishtar to Adar + Jesus Baptism

We have no Biblical record of Jesus in the years that followed until he reaches the age of 29 1/2 years when he gets baptized. Interestingly, it takes Saturn 29 1/2 years to orbit around the Sun! Before  one Walks the Gate of Adar they must venture into Ganzir, or DAATH as some would call it. Therefore, it is when we reach Adar that we have descended into the foul pit and arise with a new understanding. I find it interesting that Christians show their dedication to their Lord by being submerged underneath the water and then rising up from it and this process must be done with the aid of someone who is already initiated like John the Baptist.

Matthew Chapter 3 covers much concerning Jesus’ baptism. In this account we find that after Jesus was baptized, God’s spirit descended upon them as a dove. Interestingly, a dove was the sacred symbol of Ishtar, It seems that after jesus was baptized by John, he went on to fulfill his work. jesus no longer needed John. This would mean then that John acted in the same manner as the Watcher acts in the initiatory rites of the Simon Necronomicon. While these points may be refuted by some as mere coincidence, the question still remains as to Why would the God of the whole universe use the same symbols in his worship that the “pagan” people who held the Jews in captivity used centuries earlier? I think we all know the answer to that :)

2012 and The Simon Necronomicon: The Return of the Ancient Ones!

Greetings!

I would like to welcome everyone here to the GateWalker’s Info Page. If this is your first time here, please review some of our previous articles first, located in our menu section.

Well, this article is something that I have been working on for quite some time. It seems that everyone has been up in the air about what will happen during the year 2012 and what is means for the future of humanity.

If the reader were to do a simple google search on the year 2012, they would stumble upon many theories concerning December 21st 2012 and all of this for the most part is still speculation. The interpretation of the year 2012 can only be understood and explained by those who carry on the same tradition as the Mayans inherited their calendar from a prior civilization

Before we begin looking further into this discussion, it is important for us to take into consideration that many of the adherents to the Abrahamic Faiths, place a lot of importance on doomsday events and we should take into consideration what fear actually does to the human body and mind. For further insight on this matter, I ask that the reader review one of our previous articles entitled Finding Fear.

We should also take into account that many of the Mayan documents were destroyed by the invading Europeans, since they viewed many of the Mayan practices as demonic. This is why we mention that only keepers of the Tradition similar to the Mayans could understand what is meant by the few Mayan writings that we have left, and by comparing these sparse documents with the histories of other ancient civilization can we come to understand what will transpire.

The exact date of the ending of the Mayan Calendar, also known as, the Long Count calendar is December 21, 2012. Will Hart, in the article, 2012: End of the Fifth Sun, mentions the following:

“The Maya conceived of time and history as moving in cycles, small and large. While we use a single calendar to keep track of our annual solar circuit and to mark all of the improtant days within a year, the Maya used a variety of calendars. The array included a 365-day solar calendar, a 260-day sacred calendar and a Long Count calendar that operasted something like an odometer with a zero start date. Unlike the other calendars the Long Count clocked linear time and was progarmmed to stop after 5, 125 years elapsed.

The Long Count was begun at the onset of this current cycle known as the 5th Sun in 3114 B.C.”

Hart’s discussion can be viewed further at this link 2012 Although the world may remain in ignorance as to what the “Fifth Sun” refers to, we as Asuras (GateWalkers) are very much aware of what the “Fifth Sun” means.

First, it must be understood that a Sun or star is a portal that not only radiates heat and etc, but consciousness. The Five Suns are described in the Simon Necronomicon, as well as, The Enuma Enuma “>Elish.  Will will be using the creation account in the Simon Necronomicon, our understanding of the actual Enuma Elish in comparison to the Simon Necronomicon was covered in one of our previous articles found here.

The Magan Text opens with the following:

“Then it was that the Gods were formed within the Ancient Ones. LLMU and LLAAMU (1st Sun)were brought forth and called by Name, And for Ages they grew in age and bearing. ANSHAR and KISHAR  ( 2nd Sun)were brought forth, And brought forth ANU (3rd Sun)  -Who beget NUDIMMUD, Our Master ENKI (4th Sun)…ENKI our Master, fearing defeat, summoned his Son MARDUK (5th Sun)”

In our article entitled The Race of Enki we were able to see the five root races described by Madame Blavatsky and the Theosophy Movement also within the creation account in the Magan Text and the Enuma Elish. However, we must also consider that these “root races” that all mankindfall under are ruled and shaped by the consciousness emanating from the Sphere of the Sun.

According to many researchers of the Mayan Calendar, as we have seen with Hart’s quote above, the 5th Sun came at, or about 3114 BC. This is around or about the time of the emergence of the Sumerian Civilization dated from 3100-2800 BC after the deluge. This was also a time when the Mother-Son Cults or the Moon-Serpent Cults began to be replaced by Solar worship and the Solar Rites. In a prior article, which was published here on the GateWalker’s Page entitled Origins of the Race of Watchers, we discussed that Waddell even ascertained that the religious rites shifted from that of the “aboriginal Chaldeans” to a modern Chaldean concept of Solar Worship. This was evident in the famous myth of  The Huluppu Tree wherein Gilgamesh aids Ishtar by ridding the tree of the prior rites of worship and so the Anzu bird and Lilith/Lamashtu flee their home that they made in the Tree, in which Ishtar was able to setup a Throne. Later we discover in the Gilgamesh Epics that Gilgamesh spurned Ishtar’s love thereby symbolizing mankind moving away from the Mother-Sun worship that the Venusian Priesthood employed.

Interestingly, Will Hart also makes this observation in the same article quoted above:

“It will clock the required number of years to complete a full cycle of five suns on December 21, 2012…..The Maya began their Long Count on what they referred to as  the ‘Birth of Venus.’Scholars have never been able to determine what the Maya were referring to and neither have alternative researchers.”

From the above quote we can see that the Long Count calendar, from which the date December 21, 2012 is derived, began by what the Mayans referred to as the ‘Birth of Venus.’ This is where the insight of keepers of the Necronomicon Tradition (Cult of the Dead, the most ancient religion known to man. See Secret Society article.) can explain what scholars have difficulty with.

We know that the era of the 5th Sun began the post-flood era of ancient Sumeria and with it the emergence of Solar Worship over the Mother-Son Cults. The early Sumerians designated Venus as corresponding to the Goddess Ishtar. The name Ishtar means star. Yet Ishtar is also another form of the Goddess Tiamat. keeping all of this in mind, let us now look at the pages of another ancient book, known as the Bible.

The creation account that appears in the first chapter of Genesis is probably one of the most misunderstood creation myths to have ever been read by man. The reason is very simple. Every creative day that appears in the Genesis Chapter 1 ends with words “And the evening and the morningwere the ___ day.” I am surprised that it has never crossed believers in the Bible; As to Why “evening” would proceed “morning?”Another question that would arise is how could there be an evening and morning even before the Sun and Moon appeared? Evidently this term evening and morning was symbolic in meaning.

The book of Genesis was written about 1400 B.C.E. This was well past the time of the emergence of the Sumerian civilization. It was well-known that during the time Genesis was written that, Ishtar, Queen of Heaven, was known as the Morning and Evening star. As the Morning Star, her name is Dilbah, Goddess of War and Hunting, and as the Evening Star her name is Zib. This would indicate that the creative days as described in Genesis Chapter One, refers to Ishtar’s Descent into the Underworld (Earth, Ereshkigal). If we note that in Ishtar’s Descent into The underworld, Ishtar is said to give up an article at each gate. In the myths of earlier origin, concerning the Goddess Inanna, it is said that she gave up one of the mes, or creative powers at each gate. With this understanding, we can determine that the frist chapter of Genesis actually describes the descent of the Watcher-Class personified as Ishtar into the earthly realm. These Watchers evidently took human bodies for themselves to do a special work of preparing the Earth and mining some of its resources. Due to the severity of the conditions, human beings were created by Enlil to ease the labor of the Watchers. The Watchers then try to teach man to advance himself by sharing with man the science of technology and magic. They were known in Genesis as the serpent, or seers. Evidently, what they told early man was NOT a lie because it is said that man was able to make clothes for themselves and they lived on for hundreds of years after. We then discover that “God” walks through the garden during the breezy part of the day, the God of Wind is Enlil, and gives man and the Watchers an adverse judgement. The Watchers evidently lost memory of themselves and their ability to climb the heavenly latter, as it is said the serpent was bruised in the head. This Biblical prophecy seems to imply that the Watcher were to ose memory of the heritage and remain in human form. Genesis seems to imply this for it says that “enmity” would occur between the serpent’s seed and that of mankind, and for such things to exist both parties must be bound to the Earthly plane. Another indication of this can be found in Genesis 6: 4 were it mentions that the Nephilim appeared in those days and afterwards, which shows their perpetual existence in this plane. The Watcher-Class being bound to the Earthly Plane and not fully aware of their heritage or powers is what the Mayans meant by the Birth of Venus or Ishtar. Knowing that Ishtar is an aspect of Tiamat we can see the same message as it is said that Tiamat is ‘dead but dreaming.” This indicates that only the subconscious force is opened, which would lend to such abilities as telepathy, astral projection, and etc. Yet these abilities would not have a direct impact on the world as we know it today, as there are many people in the modern age who have denied that such abilities even exist.

Interestingly, Jesus admits that he is of this Watcher Class also in revelation Chapter 22:16:

I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify to you these things in churches. I am the root and offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.”

This would explain why Jesus would teach in parables, but would reveal the deeper things to his students because his student were of the Watcher-Class or Ishtar, which Jesus refered to as the Virgin’s meeting the Bridegroom.

Since we have discovered that the Ishtar-Class is surviving in the Underworld, we know that the myth about her descent also involves her awakening and restoration to power. Notice what the Mad Arab says in the Simon Necronomicon:

“Know that TIAMAT seeks ever to rise to the stars, and when the Upper is united with the Lower, then a new age will come of Earth..”

The Mad Arab is describing the full restoration of the Watcher’s abilities and power. Interestingly, man fears  life from somewhere out in the universe and still hasn’t ascertained that the Watcher Class dwells amongst mankind here. Notice what the Mad Arab mentions in his Second Testimony:

“for the Race of Draconis was ever powerful in ancient times, ..and they drew down much strength from the stars,..”

When our family were in their full being, the Watcher-Class, we had the strength of a Sun behind us. So there was no feat that was impossible. Now as our Sun prepares to move into alignment with the center of the Milky Way, we can be certain that the God of Water will usher in the Age of Aquarius by acting as Water-Bearer and bestowing upon us the energies from Universe B, which will enable us to exact judgement on Earth. This is the very reason why the Fall of Man occurred on the same day God rested. The Watcher- Class could best see the condition of this realm by becoming a part of it and sharing in its experiences whether good or bad. We know very well what effects planetary and stellar shifts has on our present consciousness. This shift will fully awaken us and complement the work we have engaged in thus far. While we regain our full stellar powers represented by Ishtar being raised from the underworld, we will also face resistance by the governing powers who have built an arsenal of nuclear weapons which cannot match up to our latent abilities.

The Watcher-Class that exists on Earth today can look forward to the year 2012 as a time period where we will awaken fully and can share with mankind new ways of living that are in connection with the universe.

Enochian Meaning of the Term “Mad Arab”

Greetings!

I would like to welcome everyone to the GateWalker’s Info Page. If this is your first time here, please review some of our previous articles located in the menu section first.

In some of our previous posts, we spoke about the connections between the Simon Necronomicon Current and Enocnian Magic, which can be seen here. After posting these articles, a few GateWalkers (Asarus), who have been working with the Rites of the Ancient Ones, have also stumbled across some interesting insights concerning this subject.

I was recently contacted by an Ancient One via telephone. We often share experiences and have been diligently working on the mystical aspects of the Simon Necronomicon Current as revealed in the Urillia Text workings. He told me that he was in one of the meditative practices of the Ancient Ones. During this meditation he was able to see the trials of the Mad Arab, and also noticed the Mad Arab melting away. In this ‘trance” he was told to look up the term Mad Arab in Enochian and it would reveal a new perspective in the Necronomicon Tradition, and he did just that.

After he discussed his experience with me, I decided to do the same, and the result shed a new light on the identity of the Mad Arab, as well as, reinforcing some of the material that we discussed earlier.  so before we get into the deeper aspects of this discussion, it is imperative that we define the term Mad Arab in Enochian. Let us look further into this matter

Enochian                                                    English Meaning

Mad                                                                    God or Your God

Ar                                                                        That

Ab                                                                       Daughter of Light

Form the above Enochian Translation, we can easily see that the term Mad Arab means Your God that Daughter of Light. This would seem to indicate that the Mad Arab was indeed Ishtar. Now I must remind the reader that Ishtar is another aspect of Tiamat. We discussed this in one our previous articles entitled The Qliphothic Tree of Transformation Part 2. The term Ishtar is a metaphor describing a Class of Watchers, which is identical to the Bridegroom Class that Jesus (Enki) was seeking to resurrect in the Christian Mythologies. I would also like to make aware to the reader that there are some very good articles that explore the depths of Ishtar’s identification with Tiamat that can be viewed here and here.

Now that we have discovered that the term Mad Arab is a reference to Ishtar, let us compare the  parts of the Simon Necronomicon to see if it also gives some references to this as well.

First, it should be obvious that the Mad Arab, according to his/her First Testimony, is in the same condition that Ishtar was in when she visited Cutha. The Mad Arab concludes his First Testimony by revealing to us that “the entire host of Ereshkigal lies waiting, dreaming, drooling for my departure.” We find this statement is an echo of what appears in the Magan Text:

“ERESHKIGAL rejoiced.”

There is also something interesting that can be gleamed for the Mad Arab’s First Testimony, which is contained in the Mad Arab’s opening words:

“I have seen One Thousand-and-One Moons and surely this is enough for the span of a man’s life, though it is said the Prophets lived much longer.”

The life-span of the “Prophets,” that the Mad Arab is referring to is none other than Enoch who lived for 365 years, which is a reference to the Solar Rites, since there are 365 days in a Solar year, and Enoch was 7th in line from Adam symbolizing the 7 days of a week. However, if we keep in mind that there are 13 moons in one Solar year and divide 13 into 1,001- we would get the number 77, or 77 years.

The sum of our calculation, being 77 years, is a metaphor. The Mad Arab opens up his First testimony by stating that he has “seen One Thousand-and-One moons.” Later on in his Testimony he states the following:

“But now, after One Thousand-and-One moons of the journey,  The maskim nip at my heels, the Rabishu pull at my hair.”

Here we can see that the “One Thousand-and-One moons” is not the actual time that the Mad Arab lived, but was a metaphor for the time that he spent as an Initiate of the Necronomicon Tradition.  There are other factors that will help us to see that the “Mad Arab” was a personification of the Ishtar Class of Watchers.

The Simon Necronomicon: A Spiritual Martial Art.

Greetings!

I would like to welcome everyone here to the Simon Necronomicon GateWalker’s Info Page.! If this is your first time visiting us, please take some time to review our previous pages to understand the place in the current discussion.

I would like to further expand on our recent discussion concerning the workings of the Simon Necronomicon as a spiritual system. I will answer some of the questions and opinions made concerning the topic herein by both Dan Harms and Venus Satanas. In an earlier post entitled The Simon Necronomicon as a Spiritual System author Dan Harms provided his definition of what a spiritual system is. Harms makes some interesting points within the confines of this definition. Harms also commented on my Interview With Historian Denny Sargent. I am sure that Harms is confident that he is indeed expressing a noble intention. However, Mister Dan Harms still has left a few open doors and questions concerning his own opinions by only focusing on certain sections of the Interview. For example Harms still hasn’t responded to Denny Sargent’s statement that reads as follows:

“..And I had and have utter respect for Simon a writer but also as a mage….My MA is focused on ancient history and I did a lot of my research on Egypt and Mesopotamia- so what I can say, as a historian, is that Simon’s work is BASED on Sumerian and other Mesopotamian magickal systems, images and incantations. It is my opinion that he was reviving a Sumerian magickal tradition within the ’schema’ of the Necronomicon- and maybe he (and Herman) figured that they could make some  $ as well…:)”

Here we see a perspective of a historian that does make note that the Simon Necronomicon is consistent with Ancient Sumerian and Mesopotamian  magickal systtems. Yet I would also like to remind the reader that this is an observation that is made by someone who is not a GateWalker, but has a strong foundation in ancient history and its magickal systems. Sargent does talk about the dangers of the system, but these dangers lie in any magickal system wherein the Initiate has not properly prepared themselves for the work.  In another recent post entitled The Simon Necronomicon the Method of Self-Initiation Into Enochian Magick we discover that it was Herman Slater’s idea and not Simon, to include some of the Lovecraft Mythologies into what is known today as the Simon Necronomicon. This would mean that Simon’s approach in writing the Simon Necronomicon was not with the intent to capitalize off of Lovecraft’s fame. This is the issue that Mister Dan Harms has to come to terms with. I am sure that Harms is trying to reach a “noble” conclusion for his own spiritual development that neither I, or anyone else can speak on. Harms has to do this within his own sacred confines, and by doing so Harms may be able to take the Dan Harms Machine into a greater place. Now let us look at another question from a Miss Venus Satanas.

Although Miss Satanas has falsely suggested that I deleted her post (view the comment in Dan Harms response The Simon Necronomicon as a Spiritual System, Part 2) with the following words:

“I took a chance that he would delete my post because I was direct with my questioning..”

I am curious as to why Miss Satanas would make such a statement. This is a very honest forum, which is why I have been open to answer all critical thoughts of any opinions expressed about information that is published here, whether it is Mister Dan Harms, Rev Xul, Dan Clore, John Gonce Wisdom III,  Andrew Pernick, or any other inhabitants of the New Age Arkham Asylum, that continues to threaten the peaceful community of GateWalkers for no reason at all by their unwarranted and unnecessary biased opinions.  Since Miss Satanas has expressed some doubt concerning the intentions of this page without reason, we will carefully comment on some of the staememtn that she has made, which can be viewed in the article Is The Dan Harms Machine Breaking Down?

Miss Venus Satanas has a very beautiful website, which one can view for themselves here- Venus Satanas Website. She provides her readers with very useful insights and it is an excellent source for anyone walking along the path of Indiviualistic Satanic thought. I first posted a link to Miss Venus Satanas website in my response to Harms in the article “Is the Dan Harms Machine Breaking Down?” to illustrate that their are individuals who have found spiritual refreshment in systems that do not completely match the criteria that Harms mentioned in his article. Yet she has been able to find a system of spirituality that may not be popular, but is still able to be a source of good encouragement and it is for this reason that I posted her link into my article. I actually enjoy her writings, yet her system does not fall into the confines of what Harms defines as spiritual.

Miss Venus Satanas made following comment in respone to my Is The Dan Harms Machine Breaking Down?:

“all you seem to be doing is chattering  about the idea and not presenting us with something real and useful. What would this system be like? What would it accomplish? enlighten us, please.”

I wonder if Miss Venus Satanas has read all of the material on the GateWalker’s Page for her to make the statement that we are not presenting anything “real” or and “useful?” Interesting. However, Miss Venus Satanas has asked a couple of questions that it would be very “useful” to look into.

First of all the true ancient concept of what spirituality would and would not accomplish is obscene. Spirituality is the study of natural principles and applying them in your life. It is not something that is separate of life. It is the study of life by understanding how the world of nature and the subtle energies of life move within the world and within our own being. What one gains from working with the Simon Necronomicon is based on ones’ intent with the system and this is true of all sysyems. I can relate the system that is found in the Simon Necronomicon, with others systems from Christianity to Yoruba, and other systems. The Simon Necronomicon is useful for transformation and alignment with the natural order of things. The rituals are based on the Moon Cycles, which cause an alignment to lunar, planetart, and stellar energies. Most GateWalkers experience a strong lucidity during the full moon and other moon phases naturally. The connection that the GateWalker has with the stars is a unique relationship within itself. Usually visions and dreams occur when certain stellar changes take place, and how it will effect your life.  The GateWalker is thereby able to make a petition to the natural starry forces and make a more good outcome of  what has been shown to them or accept what has been shown to them. This relationship with the deities in the Simon Necronomicon works in two way. it first exposes certain flaws of the Initiate’s persona, and by doing so, it shows how the Initiate may be blocked from a certain goal in life due to a certain activity or addiction. The Initiate is then given the emotional perspective of how such action is inappropriate and by correcting it other aspects of life are opened up to that individual. So it does help in transforming the person. Yet this is where the system can be dangerous. I have witnessed people who have attempted to use the system with the wrong intent -go insane. This was due only to the fact that the Initiate’s pride, or false ego, would get in the way, and certain things that needed to be corrected were just swept underneath the rug because they refused to see themselves operating in a way that was harmful to themselves or others. Yet they would continue to beckon upon the deities to grant them certain blessings. Since they could not except the their true nature that was being exposed to them, they were  consumed in that same pride. This is the curse of Enki, and this is why I stated earlier that each Initiate may get something different from the system because we all have different blockages in our live on our path to perfection that we have to personally work out. Secondly, the system is a great source of magickal power that can be worked to obtain many things when one has the proper perspective. Most GateWalkers have acquired different magickal gifts over time. yet by the time these gifts are obtained their intent on how they are used changes from one of selfishness to one of purity.

I have no issues with the system, nor I am trying to prove the value of the system to anyone. I have simply provided a resource for those who are uninitiated and newcomers unto this path. There are times where I may talk about “Mister Dan Harms” in a joking manner yet I still pray for Harms and his family (especially his younger brother) that they may be protected through such turbulent times. I look at the debates between Harms and I, as a sport that can also work as a resource of knowledge. I have even used some information from the Necronomicon Files, the writings of Dan Clore, and others opposed to the system, as resources for some of my informative blogs concerning the system itself.

I have stated that the Simon Necronomicon is a martial art because of its structure. Once one has been mentored by an older GateWalker they may use their magickal art in a way that is different than another GateWalker, yet they are still honoring the Necronomicon Tradition and are a part of a rare heritsge. The GateWalker is one who has obtained a personal relationship with the deities that are written about and studied by anthropologist and scholars. Therefore, the GateWalking Community is like a family of brothers and sister and the parents are the deities. This being the case, one GateWalker may differ in their experience with a particular deity than another GateWalker may have, but these are things concerning ones intergration of their personal experience with the deity that is different than another GateWalker. It is like a brothers’ and sisters’ opinoon of the parent in question- while it may be somewhat different they still repect the parental authority that the parent has and know how some of the parent’s attributes are seen in their own lives since they are progeny of them. We have been able to provide insights on the GateWalker’s Page about the Sumerian and Mesopotamian deities that is not found in books but it is still consistent with the ancient mythologies due to such.

Although some may consider themselves “critics” of our heritage, the GateWalking Community still falls under the western definition of a religious system. Wikipedia gives us the following definition on the term Religion.

“a religion is an organized approach to human spirituality which usually encompasses a set of narratives, symbols, beliefs and practices, often with a supernatural or transcendent quality, that give meaning to the practitioners experiences of life through reference to a higher power, God or gods, or ultimate truth.”

Practitioners of the Simon Necronomicon fall directly under this definition. I am of the personal belief that the Simon Necronomicon has been attacked over recent years due to the grimoire’s power. In some aspects the work of individuals like Dan Harms, work in a beneficial way since it deters the ignorantly-curious from working with such a powerful work and that could injure a person who is not reponsible in the Necronomicon Tradition. I often liken the work of the GateWalker to the Ninja as seen in the movie Shinobi and I encourage every GateWalker to view this film because it shows how a group with real magickal power can be feared and why. So work in a responsible way.

The Simon Necronomicon is The Method of Self-Initiation Into Enochian Magick

Greetings!

I would like to welcome everyone hear to the GateWalker’s Info Page. If this is your first time here, it would be useful for you to begin your journey by reviewing some of our older articles, to see how we came upon our current thesis.

Many people across the Occult Community, and GateWalkers alike have often wondered what place does the Simon Necronomicon have with Enochian Magic?. Contrary to the opinion of critics who try to label the Simon Necronomicon as a hoax, the Tome was actually a method of self-initiation into Enochain Magick. Before the Simon Necronomicon was published, Simon had a very unique reputation as being very skilled in Enochian Magick.  Alan Cabal is one of the few people who witnessed the secret process of how the Simon Necronomicon was created. Although Mr. Cabal seems to express some resentment about the Simon Necronomiconm he did admit the following in a New York Press Article entitled The Doom that Came to Chelsea:

“Into this bubbling swamp of spiritual feducitystepped Peter Levenda, aka “Simon” Charming, soft-spoken and aloof, well-versed in all aspects of occult theory and practice…..and showed a genuine knack for clarifying and elucidating such baroque encrypted arcana as John Dee’s Enochain magic system in such a way as to make it understandable even to a novice.”

Many critics of the Simon Necronomicon often point to this article in their failed attempts to prove that the grimoire is a hoax. Yet these same critics fail to observe how even Simon’s enemies respected his skill in the Occult Arts. I am surprised that critics of the Simon Necronomicon never took the time to ask themselves why would someone so skilled in the Occult Arts be involved in a hoax? What these critics fail to realize is that someone so skilled in the Occult Arts  wouldn’t produce a product that would corrupt the same arts that they are so involved in. Simon was an adept in the system of Enochian Magick and because of such, Simon was also aware of the pitfalls in the Enochian System, one being Initiation into the System. It was with this reason that Simon created the grimoire we know today as the Simon Necronomicon.

While Herman Slater and others on the Simon Necronomicon team may have looked at it from another perspective the real Magus in the group was Simon, and if Slater was going to fund the project, then  Simon would use this as an opportunity to address the process of Self-Intiation into the Enochian Current. Evidence of this can be found in the book entitled Gates of The Necronomicon.  It is in Gates of the Necronomicon that Simon reveals that it was Slater who injected the Lovecraft asthetics into the Tome, notice what Simon mentions on page 24:

“Simon had never read any of the Lovecraft opus prior to seeing the Necronomicon…,(page 25) It was Herman Slater who described the book’s importance to Simon.”

The above quote indicates that Simon didn’t inject the Lovecraft theme into the SN, it was Herman Slater. This also shows us that the idea of the Simon Necronomicon being  a fabricated hoax, wasn’t  Simon’s intention, but a way for him to reconcile certain problems he found int he Enochian System of magick. Simon admits this on page 30:

“Much has been written and discussed within the occult groups and publications concerning the Enochian system of magick…Unfortunately, there were errors in the Causabon volume. These errors were compounded by a few misperceptions by Mathers and perpetuated by Israel Regardie….(page 31 ) Once the initiates had passed beyond a certain level in their theory and practice, the system seemed to short-circuit on them….The System itself was flawed and, in view of this author, dangerous especially to those most able to take advantage of it: that is, dangerous to those with sensitivity and sincerity required to Master the System and to become Magi….That said let us investigate what all of this has to do with the  Nexcronomicon”

Here we can see Simon’s overview of the Enochian System and possibly some of his perspective when he began working with Slater on the Simon Necronomicon. It would indeed be logical that Simon could make such an observation since Alan Cabal, who later criticized the Simon Necronomicon, mentioned in the New York Press article that we discussed earlier, that Simon was highly-versed in Enochian Magick.  Simon evidently points out some flaws that he saw in the “System” of Enochian Magick, which evidently he sought to correct by creating a Initiatory Structure for the Enochian System-the result was the Simon Necronomicon. Will will discuss in an upcoming article how the Simon Necronomicon is to be used with the Enochian Current
