UNDERSTANDING THE FOUR DIRECTIONAL GATES PART 6: ENKI IS THE GREAT KUTULU

December 3, 2008

Now that we have discussed each of the Four Directional Gates individually, it is important for us to now verify the call of the Directional Gates with the history of Ancient Mesopotamia.

Many of us are familiar with the name Zarathustra. He is popularly known by the Greek translation of his name, which is Zoroaster. Zoroaster means “star worshipper.” The stories of Zarathustra’s Persian pantheon seem to tell the tales what we now call the four Royal Stars of Persia.

The Royal Stars of Persia are so named because roughly 5,000 years ago, during the fabled pyramid age of Egypt, these luminaries held tremendous influence. Endowed with almost archangelic power, these legendary stars of antiquity are Aldebaron, Regulus, Antares and Fomalhaut, and in the epoch of 5,000 years ago they were considered to be guardians of the four corners of heaven and watchers of the directions, forming a heavenly cross near the ecliptic.

Wikipedia gives us the following definition of the Four Royal Stars of Persia:

The four Royal stars or Guardians of the Sky were a group of stars noticed by the Persian astrologers around 3000 BC and used as a rudimentary season calendar.

All four stars are among the brightest 25 stars, having an apparent magnitude of less than 1.5. However, this particular set of stars was chosen because they are divided on the sky by approximately 6 hours apart in right ascension. The reason why they are called “royal” is that they appear to stand aside from the other stars in the sky. Throughout a year, each star is for several months “dominant” on the night sky and one can guess the season just by noticing which star is dominant.

The four stars with their modern and ancient Persian names were:

The above history of the Four Royal Stars of Persia indicates that the Calling of the Four Directional Gates is actually something far more older than the workings of John Dee. Interestingly, each Royal Star also correlates with the “fixed” signs of astrology: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius. Aldebaron is the alpha star of the constellation of Taurus, Regulus is alpha Leo, Antares is alpha Scorpio, and Fomalhaut is Alpha Piscis Austrinus. The first three correlate with the fixed signs, but Aquarius is missing from the quartet. Fomalhaut is a bright star, shining alone in the fourth arm of the zodiacal fixed cross, and sharing the same celestial longitude, (similar to terrestrial longitude), with Sadalmelik, the alpha star of Aquarius, which is not as major a luminary.

Chaldean astrological findings influenced even the foundation of the Judaic-Christian faith.  In an article entitled, Astrology and the Bible The Bible on the Heavens! by Kelly Lee Phipps, the author makes the following observation:

“The characteristics of the twelve tribes were given both by Jacob in Genesis 49 when he blesses his sons and again in Deuteronomy 33 when Moses blesses the tribes. They correspond to the basic meanings of the twelve signs used today. God ordered Moses to have the twelve tribes camp around the holy tabernacle in the exact order of the zodiac with the entrance to the temple facing east. The four gateways to the camp were Judea, Rueben, Ephraim, and Dan. These four tribes correspond to the exact description in Ezekiel and Revelations of the four living creatures before the throne of God, which were the lion, the bull, the man, and the eagle. These four ancient symbols correspond to our own astrological signs of Leo, Taurus, Aquarius, and Scorpio which contain the four royal stars of Persia, Regulus in Leo, Aldebaran in Taurus, Formalhaut in Aquarius, Antares in Scorpio. God even directs Moses to have the tribes march through the desert starting with Judea (Leo) and going backwards towards the camps of Rueben (Taurus), Ephraim (Aquarius) and Dan (Scorpio). This is the exact motion of the equinoctial precession that gives rise to the flow of the astrological ages, a 26,000-year cycle.”

Correlations based on the Four Royal Stars of Persia are numerous. Notice what is mentioned in Revelation Chapter 4: 1-9:

4:1  After these things I looked and saw a door opened in heaven, and the first voice that I heard, like a trumpet speaking with me, was one saying, “Come up here, and I will show you the things which must happen after this.”

4:2  Immediately I was in the Spirit. Behold, there was a throne set in heaven, and one sitting on the throne

4:3  that looked like a jasper stone and a sardius. There was a rainbow around the throne, like an emerald to look at.

4:4  Around the throne were twenty-four thrones. On the thrones were twenty-four elders sitting, dressed in white garments, with crowns of gold on their heads.

4:5  Out of the throne proceed lightnings, sounds, and thunders. There were seven lamps of fire burning before his throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

4:6  Before the throne was something like a sea of glass, similar to crystal. In the midst of the throne, and around the throne were four living creatures full of eyes before and behind.

4:7  The first creature was like a lion, and the second creature like a calf, and the third creature had a face like a man, and the fourth was like a flying eagle.

4:8  The four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around about and within. They have no rest day and night, saying, “Holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come!”

4:9  When the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to him who sits on the throne, to him who lives forever and ever,”

The Simon Necronomicon consists of twelve parts that are ruled by each of the Watchers of the Four Directions.

Aquarius. (Watcher of the North) rules the following sections in the Simon Necronomicon

  1. The Testimony of the Mad Arab
  2. Of the Zonei and their Attributes
  3. The Book of Entrance and of the Walking

Taurus. (Watcher of the East) rules the following section in the Simon Necronomicon:

  1. The Incantations of the Gates
  2. The Conjuration of the Fire God
  3. The Conjuration of the Watcher

Leo. (Watcher of the South) rules the following sections in the Simon Necronomicon:

  1. The Book Maklu of the Burning of Evil Spirits
  2. The Book of Calling
  3. The Book of Fifty Names

Scorpio. (Watcher of the West) rules the following sections of the Simon Necronomicon:

  1. The Magan Text
  2. The Urilia Text
  3. The Testimony of the Mad Arab, (the second part)

It is clearly evident from the discussion above that the Four Royal Stars of Persia, also called the Watchers of Heaven, are indeed from the class of the IGIG. Also we can determine from the influence that the Chaldean astrological findings had on Judaic-Christian beliefs, that the “Lord” of the Israelites also was indeed the “Lord” of the IGIGI, since his throne was surrounded by the Four Living Creatures, as described in the book of Revelation. Now the question arises as to who is this “Lord?”

The Simon Necronomicon mentions the following on page 70:

“The Watcher comes from a Race different from that of Men and yet different from that of the Gods, and it is said that he was with KINGU and his hordes at the time of the War between the Worlds, but was dissatisfied and did cleave unto the Armies of Lord MARDUK.”

It is interesting to note that the Watcher is mentioned as having been with KINGU when the War between the Worlds occurred. However, the next passage leaves us with some interesting thoughts, continuing on page 70:

“Wherefore it is wise to conjure It in the Names of the Three Great Watchers Who existed before the Confrontation from whose borne the Watcher and His Race ultimately derive, and those Three are ANU, ENLIL, and Master ENKI of the Magick Waters. And for this reason They are sometimes called the Three Watchers, MASS SSARATI and the Watcher MASS SSARATU, or KIA MASS SSARATU.”

The above passage brings up quite a few points of interest, as we discover that the Watcher’s Race ultimately derives from the Three Great Watchers, ANU, ENLIL, and ENKI. This means that the Watchers were not a creation of the Goddess TIAMAT, but of the Three Great Watchers. We find that the description of the Watchers and their shift in alliances between MARDUK and KINGU, is written for us in the MAGAN Text on pages 159-160:

WE ARE THE LOST ONES
From a Time before Time
From a Land beyond the Stars
From the Age when ANU walked the earth
In company of Bright Angels.
We have survived the first War
Between the Powers of the Gods
And have seen the wrath of the Ancient Ones
Dark Angels
Vent upon the Earth
WE ARE FROM A RACE BEYOND THE WANDERERS OF NIGHT.
We have survived the Age when ABSU ruled the Earth
And the Power destroyed out generations.
We have survived on tops of mountains
And beneath the feet of mountains
And have spoken with the Scorpions
In allegiance and were betrayed.

And TIAMAT has promised us nevermore to attack
With water and with wind.
But the Gods are forgetful.
Beneath the Seas of NAR MATTARU
Beneath the Seas of the Earth, NAR MATTARU..,”

The above quote mentions the “LOST ONES” are from a Race beyond the Wanderers of the Night. This is the same description that the Mad Arab gives us in his Testimony concerning the ARRA Sign on page 12:

“Of the three carved symbols, the first is the sign of our Race from beyond the Stars, and is called ARRA in the tongue of the Scribe who taught it to me, an emissary of the Elder Ones. In the tongue of the eldest city of Babylon, it was UR. It is the Sigil of the Covenant of the Elder Gods, and when they see it, they who gave it to us, they will not forget us. They have sworn!”

We discussed in great detail the meaning of the term ARRA, as we defined it as derivative of the ancient Sanskrit term Arya, or Aryan, meaning noble or spiritual. We were later able to discover that the term Aryan described a person on a spiritual path or one who was of divine lineage. We were also able to see that the term Aryan had nothing to do with the physical characteristics that people like Adolph Hitler propagated.

The MAGAN Text speaks about a time when ANU walked the earth. While it is commonly known that the term Aryan is of Sanskrit origin, it is not commonly known that the term ANU is also of Sanskrit origin. Interestingly, Wikipedia gives us this definition about a Tribe of ANU:

Anu is a Vedic Sanskrit term for a major tribe in the Rigveda, RV 1.108.8, RV 8.10.5 (both times listed together with the Druhyu) and, later also in the Mahabharata. One of the Anu kings, King Anga, was a chakravartin (AB 8.22).

Ānava, the vrddhi derivation of Anu appears as the name of a ruler in the Rigvedic account of the Battle of the Ten Kings (7.18.13) and at 8.4.1 with the Turvaśa (tribe). The meaning ánu “living, human” (Naighantu) cannot be substantiated for the Rigveda [1] and may have been derived from the tribal name,”

The Tribe of ANU were known for their great metaphysical powers. It was the Battle of Ten Kings that is describe as the War, which appears throughout various places in the MAGAN Text. The Tribe of ANU is just one description of a people who are descendants of the Three Great Watchers. The Aryan Race cannot be described through a physical characteristic, but that of a spiritual one. Madame Blavatsky argued that humanity had descended from a series of “Root Races“, naming the fifth root race (out of seven) the “Aryan” Race. She thought that the Aryans originally came from Atlantis and described the Aryan races with the following words:

The Aryan races, for instance, now varying from dark brown, almost black, red-brown-yellow, down to the whitest creamy colour, are yet all of one and the same stock — the Fifth Root-Race — and spring from one single progenitor, (…) who is said to have lived over 18,000,000 years ago, and also 850,000 years ago — at the time of the sinking of the last remnants of the great continent of Atlantis.

The Watchers are those alive today who are from the union of the gods and humans.  Previously we stated that the many of the Judaic –Christian beliefs are a distortion of the Chaldean system of metaphysics. Notice what is mentioned in the book of Genesis:

Genesis 6:1-7
1 When men began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. 3 Then the LORD said, “My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal ; his days will be a hundred and twenty years.” 4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterwardwhen the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown
.

The fourth verse from Genesis Chapter Six mentions that the Nephilim existed after the deluge. This is something that most Christians really can’t explain. Yet it does show us that there are descendants from the gods who are alive today, and these have the potential in becoming a part of the class of Watchers, the IGIGI or those who are awake.

The Simon Necronomicon on page xli makes the following correspondence:

ENLIL (ABSU)

2.

Sphere of the Zodiac or Fixed Stars

ENKI; LUMASHI (IGIGI)

Here in the above chart we see that the Sphere of the Zodiac corresponds to ENKI and the IGIGI. It might very well be possible that ENKI is the Lord of the Watchers. Notice what is mentioned in the Simon Necronomicon on page 70:

And the Lord of the Watchers dwells, it is said, among the Wastes of the IGIGI, and only Watches and never raises the Sword or fights the idimmi, save when the Covenant is invoked by none less than the Elder Gods in their Council, like unto the Seven Glorious APHKHALLU.”

The above passage describes the Lord of the Watchers as really getting involved unless the Covenant is invoked. This occurs when the Initiate begins the GateWalking Process. ENKI is invoked more than any other god in the workings of the Simon Necronomicon. We should also consider that many of the workings in the Simon Necronomicon also involve the use of the Watcher. This means that ENKI is overseeing the work of the Watcher. Let us now look further into the Introduction of the Simon Necronomicon to get a deeper meaning of the “Lord” of the Watchers. Notice the chart on page xxxix:

The chart above also depicts Nar Mattaru as the Abyss or Out of Space. In Sumerian mythology, Enki is lord of the Abzu (the watery abyss and also semen) and of wisdom. This would mean then that ENKI is the “Lord” of the Watchers who dwells amongst the IGIGI. Notice what is mentioned in the INVOCATION OF THE WATCHER:

“Rise up, by ANU I summon Thee!
Rise up, by ENLIL I summon Thee!
Rise up, by ENKI I summon Thee!
Cease to be the Sleeper of EGURRA.
Cease to lie unwaking beneath the Mountains of KUR.
Rise up, from the pits of ancient holocausts!
Rise up, from the old Abyss of NARR MARRATU!

Earlier in our discussion we made note that the Race of Watchers ultimately derive the Three Great Watchers who obviously dwell in NARR MARRATU, which is a derivative of Nar Mattaru,  The Simon Necronomicon often speaks of Nar Mattaru as the “Spirit of the Seas.” The term “Seas” first appears in the Testimony of the Mad Arab. Notice what is mentioned in the Simon Necronomicon on page 6:

I have traveled beneath the Seas, in search of the Palace of Our Master, and found the stone of monuments of vanquished civilisations, and deciphered the writings of some of these; while still others remain mysteries to any man who lives. And these civilisations were destroyed because of the knowledge contained in this book.”

The “Master” that the Mad Arab is speaking of is ENKI. We can confirm this by what the Mad Arab wrote on page 46 of the Simon Necronomicon:

And the Number of ENKI is Forty a most excellent Number, and he is our Father, of all who would tread these forgotten paths, and wander into Lands unknown, among the Wastes, amid frightful monsters of the Azonei.”

The above quote verifies the special relationship that ENKI has with those who Walk the path of as described in the Simon Necronomicon. Out of the Three Great Watchers, ANU, ENLIL, and ENKI, it is ENKI who is the most compassionate to those who walk the path. It was ENKI who raised up INANNA from her death-like state. It was ENKI who summoned MARDUK when the gods faced destruction by TIAMAT. It was ENKI who raised a pale reflection of Enkidu for Gilgamesh. Therefore, it can be stated that ENKI is the Great Initiator and also the Ruler of Nar Mattaru.

We have discussed many points in this article so that the following information we present can be clear and understood. First, we should indicate that the term “Seas” is a reference to a finer dimension, or a reality that is hidden from the five senses, but can be experienced by those who are awake. In a previous passage that we examined, the Mad Arab stated that he traveled beneath the “Seas” in search of ENKI’s palace. This is evidently not a place that is tangible by the five senses, but must be experienced through the eye of awareness. It is accessible through astral travel.

Second, we must state that the term “Black Earth” or the Land of the Dead is not a literal physical place, but represents a sphere that exists within the vicinity of the physical Earth, but astrally. On page 37 of the Simon Necronomicon we get a clear picture that the “Sea” is not something within reach of the physical senses:

“Know that, when Walking thus through the Sea of Spheres, he should leave his Watcher behind that It may guard his body and his property, lest he be slain unawares and must wander throughout eternity among the dark spaces between Stars, or else be devoured by the wrathful IGIGI that dwell beyond.”

From the above quote we get a clear picture that the “Seas” that are sometimes mentioned in the Simon Necronomicon are metaphysical.

Thirdly, we have spoken about the Watcher on various occasions. The Watcher is the Priest or Priestesses higher self. Different to popular opinion the higher self will remain in a dead state, until the individual takes on the responsibility of the Great Alchemical Work. It is for this reason that the Simon Necronomicon describes our higher self as being dead. We have learned in our previous articles that the Watcher (our higher self) is often described as being the dead KUTULU. For more details, please see our previous article that is found here:

http://warlockasylum.wordpress.com/the-bandar-sign-part-1-kutulu/

Since the Watcher is KUTULU this would also mean that the Ruler of the Watchers who dwells in the IGIGI is the Great KUTULU. This would mean that ENKI is the Great KUTULU. Now that we have found proof that the Calling of The Four Directional Gates is an ancient rite, noted amongst the Persians in their histories of the Four Royal Stars of Persia, let us look at the following passage in the Simon Necronomicon, which greatly relates to our subject at hand. Please note pages 189-191:

“Of all the Gods and Spirits of Abomination, KUTULU only cannot be summoned, for he is the Sleeping Lord. The magician can not hope to have any power over him, but he may be worshipped and for him the proper sacrifices may be made, so that he will spare thee when he rises to the earth. And the times for the sacrifice are the same times as the Sleeping of MARDUK, for this is when Great KUTULU moves. And he is the very Fire of the Earth, and Power of All Magick. When he joins with the Abominations of the Sky, TIAMAT will once more rule the earth!

And this is his Seal:

 kutulu

And there are Four Spirits of the Spaces, and they come upon the Wind, and they are Things of the Wind, and of Fire. And the First comes from the North, and is called USTUR, and has a Human Shape. And He is the Most Ancient of the Four, and a Great Lord of the World. And the Second comes from the East, and is called SED and has the Shape of a Bull, but with a human face, and is very mighty. And the Third comes from the south, and is called LAMAS, and is of the Shape of a Lion, but with a human head, and governs those things of the Flame and the Burning Wind. And the Fourth comes from the West, and is called NATTIG, and is of the Shape of an Eagle, but with a human body, having only the face and wings of an Eagle, with an Eagle’s claws. And this Eagle comes from the Sea and is a Great Mystery.

And from Nuzku upon Uru they come, and do not wait, and are always present,, and they receive the Wanderers in their Seasons. And the Season of SED is that of the Great Night, when the Bear is slain, and this is in the Month of AIRU. And the Season of LAMAS is the Month of ABU, and that of NATTIG in ARAHSHAMMA and lastly that of USTUR in SHABATU. Thus are the Four Spirits of the Four Spaces, and their Seasons; and they dwell between the Sun’s Spaces, and are not of them, but of the Stars, and, as it is said, of the very IGIGI themselves although this is not altogether known.”

Here in the above quote we see the same correlations that we have discussed earlier. Man (KUTULU) represents the North. The Bull is symbolic of the East. The Lion represents the South, and the Eagle, or Scorpio, is symbolic of the West.

The Great Mystery of the Eagle that rises from the Sea is examined in the book entitled, The Language of God in the Universe by Lehman, Helena. Noticed what is mentioned on page six of her book:

“In every case, the eagle’s face replaces the scorpion. The reason for this is because the eagle is the natural enemy of the scorpion and the scorpion, representing something evil, cannot exist in the heavenly Holy place where God dwells.”

Although, the writer is of Christian bias, she does recognize the ancient tradition of using the eagle to represent the scorpion. This also shows us that there was a practice amongst the ancients to use benevolent representations of dark forces. This was also practiced especially amongst the peoples of Ancient Mesopotamia. This is revealed to us in the MAGAN Text on page 155:

“She bore Monster-Serpents
Sharp of tooth, long of fang,
She filled their bodies with venom for blood
Roaring dragons she has clothed with Terror
Has crowned them with Halos, making them as Gods,”

Before moving on let us finish our examination of the Scorpion, who is also depicted as an eagle and phoenix. In Antiquity, the symbol of the eagle was always associated with Scorpio. The eagle is the king of birds, because it is capable of flying above the clouds as it seeks the Sun.

The eagle possesses keen eyesight, permitting him to see his prey.   The eagle has powerful talons.

Although the scorpion changes shells, it has survived for centuries without changing its form.

The scorpion has a poisonous stinger which inspires fear. A Scorpio does not seek to please others and may, enjoy instillin g fear.

If a scorpion is trapped by fire, the only animal which can commit suicide.

The Genitals and the Anus

Should it be surprising that the “secret” parts of the body correspond to the Scorpion (an animal whose home is the ground), which is governed by Pluto (the master of the underworld). The genitals and the anus, in this instance, are symbolic points of reference even more than anatomical features:

The genitals represent reproductive capabilities and fertilization A Scorpio is dominated by Survival instincts: he tends to seek creativity and power. The anus represents decay and elimination. A Scorpio is governed by forces associated with death; he tends to be destructive and aggressive.

The genitals and the anus represent two poles, or the instinctive duality of a Scorpio, who is divided between the life-instinct and the death-instinct: Eros and Thanatos. A Scorpio simultaneously seeks creation and destruction and Heaven and Hell.

This ambivalence emerges: within the season: decomposition of the natural world in November is the source of the next cycle; within the liturgical calendar: All Saints’ Day (glorification of spiritual life) is followed by the Day of the Dead;

This is the Great Mystery of the Eagle as mentioned in the Simon Necronomicon, but let us know move on in our further search of ENKI as the Great KUTULU.

On page 189 of the Simon Necronomicon, it states that ‘KUTULU is the power of all Magick.’

On page 96 of the Simon Necronomicon is says that ‘the Power of Magick is the Power of Our Master ENKI, Lord of the Seas.,’

The poetic treaty of the MAGAN Text reveals the identity of the Great KUTULU on page 160 of the Simon Necronomicon:

“And TIAMAT has promised us nevermore to attack
With water and with wind.
But the Gods are forgetful.
Beneath the Seas of NAR MATTARU
Beneath the Seas of the Earth, NAR MATTARU
Beneath the World lays sleeping
The God of Anger, Dead but Dreaming
The God of CUTHALU, Dead but Dreaming!
The Lord of KUR, calm but thunderous!
The One-Eyes Sword, cold but burning!”

The above passage speaks about the ‘God of CUTHALU’ or man of cutha, as also being the Lord of Kur. This title could only apply to ENKI:

“Enki is the lord of the “Abzu (the watery abyss and also semen) and of wisdom. This contradiction leads Kramer and Maier to postulate that he was once known as En-kur, lord of the monster-infested underworld, the area which contained the Abzu. He did struggle with Kur (a dragon-like creature who ruled the realm Kur) as mentioned in the prelude to ‘Gilgamesh, Enkidu and the Underworld’ and presumably was victorious and thereby able to claim the title “Lord of Kur” (the realm). He is a god of water, creation, and fertility. He also holds dominion over the land. He is the keeper of the me, the divine laws.”
     - Christopher Siren, “Sumerian Mythology FAQ” (Version 1.5html)

Now let us look on page 200 of the Simon Necronomicon:

“Invocation of the Powers

Spirit of the Earth, Remember!
Spirit of the Seas, Remember!
In the Names of the Most Secret Spirits of NAR MARRATUK
The Sea below the seas
And of KUTULU
The Serpent who sleepeth Dead
From beyond the graves of the Kings
From beyond the tomb wherein INANNA
Daughter of the Gods
Gained Entrance to the Unholy Slumbers
Of the she-fiend of KUTHULETH

In the above passage KUTULU is described as a Serpent. Interestingly, The serpent was considered as a symbol of wisdom and it was associated with Enki and several members of his family. Enki was also known as the ‘God of Wisdom’. The connection between the ‘Nagas’ (wise serpents, healers) with the ‘wise serpents’ of Egypt is not only obvious but also supported by Iarchas (their leader at the time) who said that their knowledge originated in Egypt. Another clue is given to us in the passage above, as ERESHKIGAL is described as KUTHULETH. KUTHULETH seem to be the feminine ofrm of KUTULU. Yet we must remember that ERESHKIGAL is ENKI’s twin brother. Another verse in the Simon Necronomicon also points out clearly that ENKI is not only the God of the Watchers, but also the Great KUTULU. In found in the NORMAL INVOCATION OF THE WATCHER:

Raise the Copper Dagger of INANNA of the Calling, and declaim the Invocation in a clear voice, be it loud or soft:

IA MASS SSARATU!
I conjure Thee by the Fire of GIRRA
The Veils of Sunken Varloorni,
And by the Lights of SHAMMASH.
I call Thee here, before me, in visible shadow
In beholdable Form, to Watch and Protect this Sacred Circle, this Holy Gate of (N.)
May He of the Name Unspeakable, the Number Unknowable,
Whom no man hath seen at any time,
Whom no geometer measureth,
Whom no wizard hath ever called
CALL THEE HERE NOW!
Rise up, by ANU I summon Thee!
Rise up, by ENLIL I summon Thee!
Rise up, by ENKI I summon Thee!
Cease to be the Sleeper of EGURRA
.”

The EGURRA mentioned in the quote above refers to the abode of ENKI, commonly known as the E-ENGURRA. The E-ENGURRA was a Temple that ENKI built for himself. The description of this “magical temple” has the same elements as found in the description of the ‘Spirits of the Four Spaces, which are described on pages 189-191. Let us examine the famous epic entitled, ENKI builds the E-ENGURRA:

Myth that tells how Enki built a house (temple) for himself in Eridu, the oldest city in Sumer according to tradition, the first of five cities founded before the Great Flood.

The temple, decorated with silver, lapis lazuli, carnelian and gold, was established on the bank of a river, where its foundations reached deep into the underground sweet, fertilising waters, called the Apsu.

The temple had magical qualities: the brickwork gave Enki advice, while the surrounding reed fences roared like a bull. The roof-beam was shaped like the bull of heaven, and a lion gripping a man formed the gateway. The overall effect was described as a lusty bull…,”

In the above passage we see the same elements as described on pages 189-191 of the Simon Necronomicon. We have the bull, the lion, the man, and the temple itself was submerged in water, which water is symbolic of Scorpio or the eagle. In Encyclopedia of Religion and Ethics by James Hastings, John Alexander Selbie, Louis Herbert Gray, on page 153, it states the following:

The Marduk prayer was employed in many other services and will serve as a good example of these Semitic compositions:

Mighty and glorified one, splendid one of Eridu, Lofty Prince, firstborn of Nudimmud, Marduk the terrible one, who maketh Egurra to rejoice..,”

Now this puts a lot of clarity on the working of the Simon Necronomicon. One of the new perspectives that the GateWalker now gains is that the alchemical treaty of the Simon Necronomicon is designed for us to work on ourselves and prepare for our spiritual adoption into the Kingdom of Three Great Watcher, which is mediate by ENKI that will soon rule the earth visibly. This underlining theme of the Necromancers of Ancient Mesopotamia has been distorted by many World Religions, which have described this transition as the last days, the rapture, and etc, yet it has always been held as an instinctual heritage for all those of the Draconian Lineage. When the Sleeper of EGURRA has awakened, it is the same as the awakening of ISHTAR, in the account Of The Sleep of ISHTAR, they will rule with their heavenly Father ENKI and aid in the work of helping others of Draconian Lineage, by using the same powers that ISHTAR gained, the ability of raising the dead. Just like the symbolic meaning of the alchemist who can turn lead into gold, so it is with the tradition of the Necromantic Arts a symbolic reference of bringing the dead to life The mad Arab could not finish the book, not because he was being consumed by evil forces, but his work was done, and he was to continue his work in the presence of the FGURRA. We will discuss this more in our next article.

“When the Great KUTULU rises up and greets the Stars, then the War will be over, and the World be One.”
